On October 12^th, in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network celebrated the success of their clients as they recognized those who have been hired during the past year.

The Dreamcatchers’ annual Client Success Recognition Event was held at the Holiday Inn in downtown Sacramento and was a huge success with clients, families, employers, along with state and county officials attending.

This year’s keynote speaker was Mr. Joe Xavier, Director of CA Department of Rehabilitation.  Joe shared his story of being a former clients of DOR and provided hope and encouragement to those clients being recognized but also to all in attendance.

The day was filled with wonderful stories of perseverance and inspiration from their clients as they shared how Dreamcatchers and finding employment has changed their lives.  There was not a dry eye in the house as family members shared how being employed has changed their loved ones’ lives.  Here are a few examples of what their clients shared about Dreamcatchers:

This celebration event was a great way to honor and shine the spotlight on Dreamcatchers’ clients who deserve every bit of praise for their accomplishments and how they have taken charge of changing their lives.  Congratulations to all the Dreamcatchers and their continued success!
