Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network is proud to announce that in February, 11 of their staff members completed the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) Employment Services certificate program and have been added to its Certificate Registry. ACRE is a national membership organization for trainers and educators who work in the field of employment for people with disabilities. Each year ACRE adds names of trainees to its Certificate Registry who have completed the required ACRE approved curriculum.
Mary, a Dreamcatcher staff member who completed the ACRE training, said that the training gave her an opportunity to reflect on the services that are being provided to their clients, and to improve on methods to handle different types of situations with clients.
Dreamcatchers would like to thank the Solano Community Foundation, an organization
that is dedicated to building a stronger community and enhancing the quality of life in Solano County through the support of philanthropic activities that make a deep and lasting positive impact, for a staff development grant that helped cover the cost of the ACRE training for their staff.
